Window Privacy for Your Home or Office

Window film can restore something we all have less of today...privacy. With CCTV cameras, ever present surveillance and increased monitoring of online activities, our privacy is constantly under attack. It seems that our business is everybody's business, but there is one area where we can strike a blow for privacy and claw back a little more privacy for ourselves. We can prevent people from seeing what we do in the privacy of our homes and offices by obscuring the view through our windows and office glass.

There is always the option of sandblasted or frosted glass, but frosted glass is heavy, expensive and difficult to change. Window film, especially decorative type films, provide a lot of options with the added advantage of being easy to install, affordable (some would even say "cheap", especially when compared to the cost of glass), and easy to change and modify.

And you're not limited to frosted films. Here are the different privacy options -

Frosted film - Ranging from light frost that diffuses the view and light to heavy frost patterns that completely block the view frosted window film is the most popular decorative window film option.

Patterned film - In addition to frosted film, decorative films are available in a variety of patterns, everything from circles, dots and lines to rice paper patterns. Choose your level of privacy and then let your creative spirit free.

Reflective film - Reflective solar control films offer daytime privacy, which often is enough. Reflective films let you see out while preventing others from seeing in, which makes them a great option for your home and in businesses where you need to be able to see others.

Blackout film - These films, which are also available in whiteout, block light completely, providing privacy and blocking the view. Blackout film comes in vinyl and polyester, each of which has their own advantages. This is a great option when you absolutely, positively don't want anyone seeing in.

The best part about using window film for privacy is that it works - you can customize the level of privacy you want to achieve, and you can do it at price that is so inexpensive you can afford to change your mind, and your design, as styles and your personal tastes change.

Looking for a little more privacy in your world? There are more options than you probably are aware of, and it can be an easy choice.
